Māla Designs is dedicated to the creation of beautiful, sustainable landscapes that are inspired by the natural world. We have a deep understanding of the unique needs and biodiversity of multiple regions, and we use that knowledge to create thoughtful and integrated designs that complement and enhance the environment, creating a unique Sense of Place. BERNICE FIELDING
Bernice Fielding is the Managing Director of Māla Designs offering Landscape Design, Horticultural Consulting and Project Management Services to clients throughout the Hawaiian Islands, Nationally and Internationally. She has worked internationally throughout her 30-year horticulture career but has lived in Hawai`i for over 14 years where she has focused on sustainable landscape design with native plants and the preservation of the `Āina. She holds both a diploma and International Certification of Qualification in Horticulture, a Cornell University Certificate in Permaculture, is an ISA Certified Arborist, a Certified Sustainable Sites Professional, a Chartered Herbalist and is LEED GA accredited
